SAE J30 R9 fuel injection hose for petrol (gasoline), including E10, E20 and E85, diesel and biodiesel in internal combustion engine fuel systems.
The hose features a fuel-resistant FKM fluoroelastomer inner layer and aramid reinforcement. Its SAE J30 R9 construction provides low fuel permeation, excellent resistance to modern fuels and good performance at elevated temperatures.

SAE J30 R9 fuel hoses are designed for more demanding fuel systems, particularly fuel injection systems, where low permeation of fuel and fuel vapours through the hose wall is important.
The FKM inner layer of this AGOMA® hose provides excellent chemical resistance to fuels, while the aramid reinforcement gives the hose mechanical strength and dimensional stability.
Fuel permeation is limited to ≤ 15 g/m²/24 h.

The FKM inner layer is in direct contact with the fuel, while the ECO outer layer provides good resistance to heat, ozone and environmental exposure.

Ethanol-containing petrol places higher demands on elastomeric components in fuel systems. Older fuel hoses that were not designed for modern fuels may harden, swell, crack or become more permeable to fuel and fuel vapours over time.

6 mm and 8 mm SAE J30 R9 fuel hoses are commonly used in motorcycle fuel systems.
R9-type hoses are used in motorcycle fuel lines where a flexible hose with good fuel and temperature resistance and low fuel permeation is required.
They may be used both when servicing modern fuel-injected motorcycles and when upgrading fuel hoses on older motorcycles, provided that SAE J30 R9 meets the motorcycle manufacturer’s requirements.
Not every fuel system requires an SAE J30 R9 hose.
For less demanding fuel applications, SAE J30 R6 or SAE J30 R7 fuel hoses may provide a more economical solution.

Inside a fuel tank, fuel comes into contact with both the inner and outer surfaces of the hose. For this type of application, use a specially designed SAE J30 R10 submersible fuel hose.
